This Art Deco gold foil wedding invitation is oriented horizontally instead of the more common portrait. An elaborate Art Deco style border really sets the tone for a fun event at the Gibbes Museum of Art. Pressing the names in black really makes them stand out.
A corresponding but slightly different ornate border appears on the response card, and the address on the response envelope is framed in another scallop border to add a little extra something.
The entire suite is printed on 140# French Paper in Whip Cream.

Gold is definitely on trend right now and is such a beautiful color to incorporate into your wedding invitation suite. Keep in mind that, unless you opt for a gold foil wedding invitation, gold appears more like a bronze or tan in printing. The shine is really what makes it “gold.”
A few ways around that issue are to use gold foil or alternatively to print on a shimmery stock, which helps add a bit of that shine. You could also incorporate gold in other ways, as a liner or belly band for example, that aren’t necessarily printed.
